I’ve never made a “best of” entertainment list before, but then again I’ve never posted to a web log every day, either. So here goes (with an anxious worry that I’m forgetting stuff)!

Video Games

Here’s my list of the nine best games made in 2008 (I put them in order, my favorite at the top):

Television

I watched a lot of TV in 2008. Some of what follows doesn’t actually represent 2008 content (I was catching up on shows I’d never gotten around to), but it does represent an alphabetically-sorted list of the seven shows that I loved the most this year:

Music

For this list of 25, I’m copying-and-pasting my last.fm “most played” bands. So this is sorted based on number of listens:
